OUR PRESIDENT
Since founding Macro-Z-Technology Company (MZT) in 1989, President and CEO Bryan Zatica has built a financially sound, multi-disciplinary construction company. A General Contracting firm with experience in Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build construction projects, Bryan has grown MZT from a specialty subcontractor to a highly successful Federal Prime Contractor with projects as large as $25-M. Mr. Zatica holds General Engineering and General Building Contractor licenses, as well as a Hazardous Substance Removal license. MZT is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), and a successful graduate of the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program. MZT’s project history mirrors the professional experience of its founder. Mr. Zatica began his construction career over 35 years ago as a Cost Engineer on large scale public works. He progressed through the ranks of field engineering, project management, and estimating for a large civil and commercial general contractor. His project experience includes: multi-story building construction, wastewater treatment plants, multi-family housing, pipeline construction, water course channel work, commercial high-rise, MetroRail station, freeways, bridges, and seismic repair. In recognition of his hard work, Mr. Zatica has been honored with the presentation of awards and honors, including: Civil Works Contractor of the Year (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Division); Minority Small Business Person of the Year (Small Business Administration); 8(a) Graduate of the Year (Small Business Administration, Santa Ana District); Region IX Entrepreneurial Success Award (Small Business Administration); and Induction to the Fellows Academy for Outstanding Service to SAME and Military Engineering (Society of American Military Engineers). Mr. Zatica holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Project and Construction Management. With more than 35 years’ experience managing every aspect of construction projects and three decades at the helm of his own firm, Bryan Zatica keeps MZT head and shoulders ahead of the competition in facilities and heavy civil construction. |
