Lower Elwah Kiallam Tribe (LEKT) Wastewater Treatment System, Olympic National Park, Port Angeles, WA
This project for the National Park Service installed a new sewer system for the 148 homes and businesses on the Lower Elwah Klallum Tribe Reservation near the city of Port Angeles, Wa. MZT installed approximately 4,500LF of 10-in diameter sanitary sewer main line with 8 precast concrete manholes, as well as an 8-in diameter HDPE pipe from the pump station to the treatment plant. External features included a back-up power generator, an oxygen injection system including odor control biofilter, parking lot, on-site water detention, bio-swale, drainage and site utilities including water, fire hydrants, and electrical service.
