Interim Westside Fire Station, WA

This project construct a FAA that requires a three minutes response time for the Fire Department to reach the midpoint of the newest west runway. Fire Department required an Apparatus Bay for two (2) Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting trucks and equipment, and crew quarters for five (5) fire fighters. The new facility is approximately in 5,000 square foot, single story limited by the overhead flight pattern limitations associated with additional asphalt replacement, concrete slab, security fence relocation with new fence and utility work.

The building reflect the Northwest Natural Environment, with proven and sustainable design. Goals that encompass elements such as energy/ water conservation, rainwater/water management, recycling, emission reduction and naturally
